JM Lazy S Versatility and Family Horses
"Gentle Horses for Gentle Folks"

Meet the Sparrows

John and Molly Sparrow, of JM Lazy S Versatility and Family Horses, are a family operation that recently made the move to a beautiful horse facility in Southeast Kansas from Northern Idaho. They made the big move with a lot of faith in God’s plan, 9 dogs and BIG dreams!
Together, John and Molly focus on training and offering “gentle horses for gentle folks.” A gentle horse is one that can go and do anything, while keeping its rider safe and have fun while doing it! Every JM Lazy S horse that is offered has seen ranch work, played in an English and jumping setting, been rode to town, has a solid arena foundation and has put a million miles on the trails.
Molly grew up training and showing performance mules as well as traveling across the United States with a speciality Rodeo act. Growing up with a strong sense of the cowboy traditions, along with promoting the versatility of the mule breed, it has been natural to carry that over into a high quality training program.
John grew up as a 5th generation draft horse man and thoroughly loves to extend his knowledge of the various breeds into the training program. His horsemanship of carriage and driving horses, as well as his ability to give horses experience at the sale barn and dabbling in the “cowboy way” of chores, rounds out the training program with perfection.
John and Molly’s extensive background and variety in various equine breeds and disciplines, gives each horse or mule they ride a true all-around experience. Each horse or mule offered on consignment will be sold with a comprehensive manual, stating all of the animals cues, habits and health information. Each buyer will also have the option to attend a 2 day riding clinic, upon pick-up, at the home facility in Baxter Springs, Kansas.
